    There's loads of strategies online about how to do Kara, which classes are needed, minimum stats, etc. A good place to start is at the WoWwiki (http://www.wowwiki.com/Karazhan). Here's my TLDR version of the first 5 bossfights. Note that the Opera may be any one of the three mentioned below!

    Please correct me if you have a better strategy - at the time of writing I've only been to Kara twice, and haven't seen the Romulo & Julianne event!



    ATTUMEN THE HORSEMAN (Death Knight with add)

    Tanks: Neither boss can be taunted. MT standby for Attumen, OT grab Midnight. Turn Attumen away from raid (cleave). Disarm/Spell Deflect Attumen at will. At P3, OT goes DPS.

    Melee DPS: Don't get cleaved by Attumen. Focus on Midnight, do DoT damage on Attumen.

    Ranged DPS: Focus on Midnight, do DoT damage on Attumen. Hug Attumen in P3.

    Healers: One dedicated to MT, one to OT, heal raid as needed. Regen fight! Hug Attumen in P3.

    Decursing: Remove Curse from Tanks (and low-aggro DPS first).

    Crowd Control: --

    Everyone:
    Phase 1, attack Midnight. Kill adds if any.
    Phase 2, at 95% health Attumen appears. Wait for tank to have aggro!
    Phase 3, when either is at 25% Attumen mounts Midnight (boss health = highest of the two). He gains a random charge. All get behind Attument and hug him!
    Watch threat on phase transitions - tanks can't taunt!

    MOROES (Rogue with 4 adds)

    Tanks: Can't be taunted. Don't break Garrote even if you can (it will break Gouge). OT grab an add for rage.

    Melee DPS: Focus fire and get first adds down quickly.

    Ranged DPS: Focus fire and get first adds down quickly.

    Healers: Keep squishies alive.

    Decursing: Remove Poison from OT (then other melee).

    Crowd Control: Keep CC up on adds not being killed, interrupt heals, use CoT or Mind-numbing poison.

    Everyone: There's 4 random adds from a choice of 6 - females are Priests/Holy Paladin, males are Ret Paladin/Warriors. Kill women first (they mana burn or heal), then men (they're tougher but don't cause as much damage to the raid).
    Break Garrote if your class can, protect squishies.

    MAIDEN OF VIRTUE (giant with AoE damage)

    Tanks: Can't be taunted. Keep her in the centre. Move her out to "tap" a Repented healer out of sleep (boss AoE will tick and break it) then return to centre.

    Melee DPS: Spread out evenly around the tank.
    Eat the silencing AoE and stay in position.

    Ranged DPS: Keep distance from boss. Stand at outside wall, between pillars for LoS. Send pets in.

    Healers: Spread evenly from other healers. Make sure everyone is in healing range. Stand just outside melee range - if you keep boss in /focus, you can run into Holy Ground AoE and it won't sleep you (but you will be silenced).

    Decursing: Spread Magic decursers evenly to reach all. Remove Holy Fire asap! Shammy grounding totem may absorb most Holy Fires.

    CC: --

    Everyone:
    Spread out along walls and find your position before the start.
    Watch and keep your position.
    Break sleep on healers - pvp trinket works.
    Kill her before she berserks after 10 minutes.

    OPERA EVENT a. BIG BAD WOLF (like Buru in RAQ)

    Tanks: Be ready to break fear often (trinkets, abilities). Tank him halfway near a wall. Keep aggro regen even as he chases someone.

    Melee DPS: Spank him carefully and watch aggro. Rogues can vanish and hide during the debuff.

    Ranged DPS: Spank him hard but watch aggro. Hunters can FD and hide during the debuff.

    Healers: Focus on Little Red Riding Hood.

    Decursing: Mages put up Amplify Magic to help healers.

    CC: Arcane Mage Slow and Thunderclap works on the boss.

    Everyone:
    Non-melee group together in a corner near the boss.
    When you're "it", kite along the wall (bring fast shoes!) in a square pattern (not a circle!). Use damage shields if you have them.
    After 1.5 runs debuff wears off.
    Wolf will switch targets briefly to Riding Hood before he starts to chase - watch it for a headsup if you're melee.

    OPERA EVENT b. WIZARD OF OZ (boss with 3 adds and a dog, then a second boss, a bit like Moroes)

    Tanks: MT on Tinhead (hits very hard), OT on Roar/lion and taunt Strawman every now and then. Ignore Dorothy, but tank her dog.
    Pick up the Crone quickly in P2, kite her around the cyclones.

    Melee DPS: Focus fire on kill target.

    Ranged DPS: Focus fire on kill target.

    Healers: Chaotic fight.

    Decursing: --

    CC: Keep the lion feared (Beast), fire damage stuns Strawman, and Tinhead will rust (slows down) as time passes.

    Everyone:
    Two phases: first Dorothee, Roar, Strawman and Tinhead (plus Dorothee's dog), then the Crone.
    Know the kill order on the first 4 mobs.
    Kill Dorothee asap, but not her dog (if it dies, she enrages).
    Kill dog second.
    Strawman dies fast, so can kill him early too.
    Tinhead will rust with time and slow down. Leave him to last.
    Avoid cyclones in P2 (slowfall).

    OPERA EVENT c. ROMULO AND JULIANNE (two bosses, like the Twin Emperors in TAQ or corehounds in MC)

    Tanks: Tank Romulo with his back to a wall (melee don't get thrown far).

    Melee DPS: Gank/interrupt boss in P1, stand behind boss in P2, kill Julianne in P3. Control fire in P3!

    Ranged DPS: Gank/interrupt boss in P1, keep distance in P2, kill Romulo in P3. Control fire in P3!

    Healers: Save mana for P3.

    Decursing: Dispel/Spellsteal bosses' self-buff in P1 and P2 (magic dps buff she has). Remove Magic dot from all in P1/P3, and Poison dot from tanks (and melee) in P2/P3.

    CC: Interrupt Julianne in P1 (heals).

    Everyone: Three phases.
    Phase 1: Fight spellcaster Julianne. Kill her in one corner.
    Phase 2: Fight melee Romulo. Kill him in another corner.
    Phase 3: Fight both bosses. Ranged on Romulo, melee on Julianne. They must die within 10 seconds of each other.

    THE CURATOR

    Tanks: MT with Arcane resistance on boss, OT or Arcane Res hunter's pet on flares.

    Melee DPS: Flares must die! Save cooldowns for P2.

    Ranged DPS: Nuke flares! Save cooldowns for P2.

    Healers: Regen fight, equip regen > spellpower. Top up nuked players, save mana and trinkets for Enrage (below 15% health).

    Decursing: --

    CC: --

    Everyone: Gear-check fight - we either have the gear for it or we don't! Drops T4 tokens.
    Two phases switching all the time.
    Phase 1: Flare Phase (lasts 90 seconds). 10 flares summoned, they cast arcane bolts and do AoE damage. They aggro on a random player and move towards them. Nuke flares asap! Boss will spam a magic bolt at a high-threat player every few seconds.
    Phase 2: Evocation Phase (lasts 20 seconds). Boss regains full mana over 20 seconds and damage taken is x3!
    Enrage below 15% health - phases stop, attack speed increases.
    After 10 minutes - or 5 full phase switches - he wipes the raid:
